We offer independent advice, honest opinions, clear invoicing and quotations. Autofit also organises evenings for groups like new drivers, to teach them basic maintenance like changing tyres, oil and many other aspects.

Please contact us if you would like to organise an evening maintenance course for your group. It is suitable for up to 12 people and lasts about 2 hours.

Mot Testing

We are open for the testing of cars and vans from Mondays to Saturdays. Tests will take about 45 mins and are while you wait, by appointment. We can either send by mail or text a reminder the following year for your Mot.

Car Servicing

We offer a range of car service levels from simple oil and filter change through to a comprehensive full service, which include Forte additives and a full check list for you to keep. This service is based on recommended best practice from the Good Garage Scheme. We also offer a general repair service on most makes of car and in most cases can offer a fixed price for the work before we start. Please contact us for details and costs. Free courtesy cars are available by appointment and you pay for your fuel only.

Our technicians follow the ATA training programme giving us access to the latest vehicle diagnostic systems.

Tyres

We offer a full tyre fitting service. We can access all brands of tyres. We are tyre specialists with the most up to date tyre fitting, balancing and laser alignment equipment. Our staff are Michelin and Bridgestone trained fitters, including fitting for the RAV4 runflat tyres. Our tyre changing machine is the Corghi Artiglio Master which does not use tyre levers, eradicating possible damage to top quality wheels. The tyre/wheel balancing is done on a Hoffman computerised wheel Balancer.

Exhausts

We can supply and fit exhaust parts and complete systems for most vehicles. No appointment is required you just drive in. We also offer free checks with no obligations.

Brakes

All brake work is undertaken; we offer brake checks free for pads and with a small refundable charge on drums. Please ring for details.

Car Air Conditioning

Car air-conditioning servicing and regasing available by appointment. Fault finding and repair work also done.

Batteries

We supply and fit batteries for most makes of cars.

Motorcycle Tyres

Ask for Ade or Jason our motorcycle specialists for advice on the right tyre for your bike. We supply and fit tyres both to loose wheels and to most models of bike. We also fit chain and sprocket kits and brake pads/discs to most bikes.
